About B.V.R.I.
Balwant Vidyapeeth Rural Institute (BVRI) is a Higher Education Institute (NAAC accredited Post Graduate College in Rural Studies) in the field of Rural Development Education and Research. BVRI was established with the sponsorship of Ministry of Education by the first Government of India after independence under the leadership of the first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, following the recommendations of the University Education Commission (1948-49) under the chairmanship of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan and the Committee of Higher Education of Rural Areas (1955) in 1956.

To provide quality education, inculcate creativity , knowledge and skills to our demographically diverse students by embracing equity and accountability to shape them into future leaders, entrepreneurs and above all good human beings.
MISSION
1. To develop progressive discipline, hard-work, team-spirit, learning attitude to develop positive countrymen and thinkers.
2. To provide academic and professional curriculum to the students for enhancing employability, humanism and rural and social responsibility.
3. To empower the intellectual and creative capacity of rural students through adoption new dimensions of education.
